It’s Tax Time!
We all love this time of year don’t we! Digging out all those receipts, working out what we can claim, maybe having chats with our accountant.
Then we find out, is it good news, or bad? Do we owe Mr Tax Man, or is there a refund coming our way? Hopefully it’s the latter!
If you work out that you’re going to receive a refund, would you prayerfully consider setting aside a small portion to help keep hope alive on the Central Coast?
We’ve created a simple pledge form you can download.
It’s not a contract or in any way legally binding — just a personal declaration of intent. Something you can print, pop on the fridge, and keep as a gentle reminder of the difference you want to make.
Then when you receive your refund get in touch and give your gift. You can even choose for us to remind you if you like.

In February we launched our new monthly giving program: Legacy Builders in place of our old Extra Mile Partners program This represents a deliberate shift in focus away from the gift itself to the actual impact of your gift.
After all, I’m sure that’s why you give in the first place. Because of the impact of your gifts. And that impact is the building of a legacy through Rhema Central Coast for future generations.
It also represents a strategic shift we’re making away from a heavy dependence on big appeals twice a year to a more sustainable and reliable monthly income base.
The initial response has been very encouraging, with many new Legacy Builders coming on board, and a number of existing donors increasing their monthly pledge as they have transitioned across to the new program. Thank you to all who have responded so far!
So while we still see the need for major appeals, we aim to be less reliant on them in the future as we build the Legacy Builder program.

A lot of people are doing it tough on the Coast. Struggling with bills, rising debts, lack of rentals, even sleeping rough. It’s a big problem!

We’re partnering with The Father’s Table to do something easy, practical, and effective.
When you’re shopping buy some extra food, drop it into our office, and we’ll get it to The Father’s Table for them to distribute to those who need it most.
We especially need tinned meals like sausage & veg, long-life milk, 2-minute noodles, pasta packs like mac & cheese, and boxes of cereal.
Please no glass or perishable items!
And cans with ring pulls are preferred. On the street you don’t always have a can opener!

I am writing to tell you how wonderful Rhema Central Coast is to our family. Our whole family love listening to Rhema, both the music and the teaching programs.
My husband recently became a Christian and he finds the teaching programs particularly helpful and informative. I find the music soothing and uplifting. The teaching programs are always very insightful and I learn something new each and every day.
