Peter Pan Syndrome and a Challenge to ‘Adult’

By: Russ Matthews

Do you ever wake up wanting to live like Peter Pan? You know the child who never grew up and frolicked in Neverland?

Ah, no responsibilities, no bills… Seems nice, but honestly, silly.

In reality, we all have to grow up, even though many of us fight it throughout our lives. We need to face the fact that adulting is where we all must go.

So, why not make the most of it?

Thankfully, we don’t have to look at this whole adulthood thing with dread and we don’t have to do it alone.

God is with us if we choose to follow His path through this whole adulting process.

Instead of living a Peter Pan life, we can live a life with a purpose. Be filled with the passion for following the examples set by Jesus Christ. It’s worth it.

I’ll promise you that His future is better than anything in Neverland.
